My New Lodge Wok, REALLY-REALLY Rocks!

Okay, was that too corny?

I like corny.

I can not WAIT to use my new cast iron wok, and I’m gonna stir-fry EVERYTHING. I love onions, peppers, greens, and things like that, so this wok will get lots of use, in my kitchen.

I plan on live-streaming some cooking shows real soon, and will most definitely be using this beauty.

(Stay tuned…)

I’m So Excited About My New 3 Quart Lodge Combo Cooker! (I Show The Lodge Cleaning Brush, Too.)

Since I’ve started collecting cast iron cookware, I’ve learned so much. When I saw this 3 quart combo, I was excited to find out that you can cook on the lid, too!

Yes, really. You just flip the lid over, and you have a small cast iron skillet!

How cool is that, right?

I know, I know. I’m a nerd, but please let me have my moment.

Oh, and one more thing about the lid…it has grooves, so it sits on top of the pot, perfectly. No sliding at all, just in case you’re wondering.

I Purchased The Lodge 9 Quart Cast Iron Dutch Oven With Bail Handle!

This 9 quart cast iron duch oven is the VERY FIRST piece of Lodge cast iron cookware, I purchased. The very first.

I now have 8 pieces, from the Lodge collection, and I can not wait to buy more.

They are beautiful, well made, and just gives my kitchen that “good ole’ country, southern, cozy kitchen feeling”.

I can make gumbo for days, in this beauty!

Oh, and we can’t forget the cornbread. Wooooooo!

My New Lodge 5 Quart Deep Fryer Was Delivered, Today! :0)

Remember the brown grocery bags they used, to bag groceries, back in the day? Well, my momma would use those same paper bags to flour chicken, fish, pork chops, etc.

I will most definitely be frying everything I can think of, in this beautiful baby! This cast iron deep fryer holds 5 quarts, and is pretty deep, which makes me feel a bit safer.

(Hot grease can be scary. I have LOTS of stories to tell, lol.)

I’m so glad that I started collecting cast iron cookware, because it has been quite a learning experience. Oh, and it’s lots of fun, too.

I haven’t been to the flea markets, or local town shops, or any other places where they sell cast iron cookware. So far, I’ve just been taking my time, and ordering them online.

I’m always excited to find that next special piece, to add to my cast iron collection.

Yeah! My Two Lodge Cast Iron Skillets Were Delivered, This Morning! :0)

I will be using these two cast iron skillets to fry bacon, make grilled cheese sandwiches, cook eggs, make french toast, and sear steaks.

You know, different things like that.

My grandma used to “fry” her peach cobbler, in cast iron skillets. WOOO-WEEE!, it was SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!

Whoooah! The Lodge 15 Inch Cast Iron Skillet Is Ginormous!

As far as size goes, this is the biggest cast iron skillet that I’ve ever purchased.

IT. IS. HUGE.

I’m not sure what the first thing I cook in this will be, but whatever it is, I will certainly need to build my muscles up, first!

This thing is a personal gym. (…grand-paw had better not get drunk, and upset grand-maw! )

Just kidding!

Hahaahaaa!
